won’t you stay with me in the city on the sea place your faith into my hands as we stroll across the strand by the coral wave death will be our slave on the jasmine shore we will weep no more you can stay with me in this city made for sea find ourselves in an ocean drop sacred moment never stop the path to the citadel sun-drenched , sun-charmed the way of the wanderer a space of inner calm by the evening tide those people there may realize what the whole thing is and why the whole thing’s bliss.

So you escaped. Where did you go? As I went licking in street corners That you left unscathed. So you’re gone. Who are your friends? I hear your name bandied around You found your time to mend. What is left of us When the body falls away? When will our souls converge? And so I’m here Within myself I scan the past - a dream so clear You learn when you’re alone. You’re all grown up And split the scene Your cosy conflict hippy friends I hear they keep you keen. What is left of us When the body falls away? When will our souls converge?

Like a stranded ghost I walk the streets Looking for a sign to take me there Broken on the rocks of pain and grief Entertained by my own mischief Beauty takes away my inner sight Beauty clouds my mind and makes me go astray Drifting out to drown inside your eyes A bobbing cork upon a black sea sinking Take away the lips of wordly knowledge Let me slowly drift away from earthly pain Deep in the shady hollow of the heart. Fallen angels or evolving apes? Is our time on earth a test to taunt us? Have we just an age to settle worlds? The strength that is within can make you no-one. It tears me apart…

Don’t you know? Can’t you see? I am not the man that you want me to be I can only help you lose your way. Who are you? Don’t you know? I am not the one who has forced you to grow I am only here to let you go. Who are we meant to be? I am only here so you can mirror me Just a pale reflection so you’ll know. Song about a friend, song about an enemy....

Dark night that creeps thru my window Never will you break my soul The pale naked angel that stands by my bed He said “everything must turn to gold” Lover oh lover, come into my bed Your skin is so warm, mine’s so cold I’ll treat you and greet you and see that we’re wed He said “I cannot be bought or sold”. Giver oh giver, I need you tonight To open a crack to my soul He turned with a sigh and gave me the eye And said “you will do as you are told…”

No Coward Soul is Mine - EMILY BRONTE No coward soul is mine, No trembler in the worlds storm-troubled sphere: I see Heavens glories shine, And faith shines equal, arming me from fear. O God within my breast. Almighty, ever-present Deity! Life -- that in me has rest, As I -- Undying Life -- have power in Thee! Vain are the thousand creeds That move mens hearts: unutterably vain; Worthless as withered weeds, Or idlest froth amid the boundless main, To waken doubt in one Holding so fast by Thine infinity; So surely anchored on The steadfast Rock of immortality. With wide-embracing love Thy Spirit animates eternal years, Pervades and broods above, Changes, sustains, dissolves, creates, and rears. Though earth and man were gone, And suns and universes ceased to be, And Thou wert left alone, Every existence would exist in Thee. There is not room for Death, Nor atom that his might could render void: Thou -- Thou art Being and Breath, And what Thou art may never be destroyed. -- Emily Bronte

as i was walking out one day i met an alchemist he took his cloak, my breath away and led me from the artifice. he blew the embers in my heart, he turned me upside down he turned my stagnant blood to wine then took me to his town. and underneath the circus hill he made the night a fire and deep within the carnival my soul it did aspire. and standing naked as a man, the woman in me shining a universal master plan the alchemist was mining. “but now i have to leave” he said and so went on his path and left me living with the dead to write my epitaph.

As the wind went slowly turning Through the trees and fires burning In the mountain pagan dancing While the Goddess watches us. In the darkness slowly wandering To a high place where the dawning Sun begins to warm the morning Leading us to silent hope. With the ghosts of past wolves howling And the phantom boars all grunting, Painted faces, drums are rolling While the mist is lifting off. I will stumble to the growing Peace within me, clearly humbling, Taste the elements controlling Everything that seemed so wild. At the heights where falls are tumbling, Taste the waters, purifying, Cleansing senses, cold, refreshing Centre of the universe. One so small but cosmic, reeling, As a consciousness revealing Oneness with the ever growing Bottomless awareness still. There the lovers coiling, rolling, There no difference appearing, To the eyes a truth unveiling Slowly for the open ones. Unity is oceans merging With the shore of understanding, Drawing back illusion’s growling Roar of crude attachment. Stepping back to be the witness Of a scene which I thought real, Seeing that there is no difference, Nothing left to beg or steal.

Within the dark wood by the bower Where sorrel grows and mushrooms flower Where greens a thousand-fold are flowing Where foxes play and badgers growing. Between the oaks and sycamores Between the bushes, bracken, dock leaves The darkest figure walks and blows For all the woodland stags to hear. And the rubbing leaves are whispering There the winds through branches wailing Where russet leaves like rain are falling Over footfalls where they break He who makes the wolves a shelter In his arms, the lord protector He who keeps the hot beast calmer Separating life from dying He who knows the way thereafter Lord of dances, meditator Lord of silences and rivers Caught within the gurgling stream-flow On the banks and round the marshes Within without the stags and ravens He who holds the bow and arrow Targeting our imperfections Where the meeting rivers blissful Hold their act of union Where the timeless takes its no-form There The Lord is listening

Our connection has been dangerous for my mind I look to you but you break me with your eyes I’ve never seen you naked, I’ve only seen you smile I don’t know who you are and I don’t know who I am. And I’m left with nothing but my foolish frame And all that you leave me is to play the game Again and again. I’d rather be a beggar than to live without your eyes Lay me in the garbage with your photograph. I’d give it all up for you. If there was anything to give up..

Whole 02:46
Whole before the sun was born Before creation set her stall Before the constellations of the heart Whole we two enjoined as one Internal work’s begun We cannot stop what is inevitable Whole we two are slowly led To our sacrificial bed Where ego is emasaculated righteously. Whole is holiness itself It needs no others help And comes about spontaneously Whole we two enjoined as one Internal work’s begun We cannot stop what is inevitable Whole we two are slowly led To our sacrificial bed Where ego is emasaculated righteously.
